Scoring Guide — Use During the Interview

Strong (4–5)
Specific, concrete example. Clear ownership. Reflects on the outcome and what they'd do differently.
Adequate (3)
Relevant example but lacks specificity. Outcome unclear or attributed to the team rather than the individual.
Weak (2)
Vague or hypothetical response. "I would..." rather than "I did..." Unable to give a clear example when probed.
Red Flag (1)
No relevant example. Deflects, blames others, or contradicts earlier answers. Probe reveals significant gap.
